Employment / Technology Integration Specialist
SUMMARY
The Technology Integration Specialist is responsible for supporting the Lead Technology Director in ensuring that computer systems, instructional technology tools, and associated peripherals are running effectively in classrooms, offices, and throughout the campus. The Technology Integration Specialist provides technical support for staff and students, assists in online course development, and manages the Help Desk ticket system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following, as well as other duties as assigned
- Provide technical support to administration, instructors, staff, and students for hardware, software, and networking needs
- Provide support services for PC, Mac, Chromebook, iPad, and peripheral equipment (scanners, printers, cameras, etc.)
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of distance education modules
- Assist in editing and production of video, audio, and photo projects for distance education, marketing, and other campus projects.
- Convert and upload physical and digital learning resources and tools onto school learning management platform.
- Troubleshoot user concerns in a wide variety of technology areas (hardware, software, networking, etc.)
- Install, repair, or replace building wiring and/or cables for technology use
- Monitor, assign, and manage the Help Desk ticket system

- Video editing ability required

QUALIFICATIONS

Must give satisfactory evidence of having experienced the New Birth through Jesus Christ. Must give satisfactory evidence of having been obedient to the Lord in believer's baptism. Shall be a member in good standing of a fundamental, Bible-believing church of like faith and practice. Must accept the Articles of Faith last adopted by Shepherds Board of Directors without mental reservation. Is expected to attend the regularly stated local church services as work schedule will allow.
Employee must complete a TB skin test and a physical exam which certifies freedom from communicable disease within 90 days before beginning employment. Medical documentation of TB skin test results and physical exam must be submitted to the Human Resources Department prior to beginning employment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Minimum
Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field or related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
