COLLEGE FOR A WEEK 2017

Explore the possibility of attending Shepherds College!

During College for a Week, you will live in the dorms, learn about our specialty majors (Culinary Arts, Horticulture and Technology), be introduced to Appropriate Independence™ Academy, and enjoy a variety of college and community related activities.

Each day at College for a Week, prospective students participate in a personal challenge and devotional to help guide them in developing their individual character and spiritual life. They attend classes each morning including Culinary Arts, Technology, Horticulture, Math, and Personal & Professional Development. Students demonstrate their abilities by planting flowers, baking, creating presentations, working together, and practicing money skills. The students work in teams and develop new strengths.

In the afternoons and evenings, students compete in team activities like glow bowling, life-size “Hungry, Hungry Hippos,” and human “Sorry.” Outings include a Kenosha Kingfish baseball game, swimming, laser tag, and miniature golf. We pack the week full of college experiences!

Join us for many opportunities to have fun, make new friends, and learn more about Shepherds College!
