Who is it for?
College students and college graduates seeking to gain professional experience.
When is it?
Mid-July 2021- early June 2022. 2nd shift, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
What can I expect?
Shepherds College fellows can expect to work mostly in the Student Life program helping students gain life skills. Some of the responsibilities are helping students master skills to achieve appropriate independence, facilitating evening programs, completing various documentation and assessments, assisting students with financial budgeting, personal care, health management, partnering with students in their spiritual journey, accompanying students on outings (movies, bowling, shopping). There is also an opportunity to intern in the department of your choice. (Academics, Advising, IT, Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Business Office, Human Resources, or Marketing).
Is this a paid Fellowship?
Yes, fellows will receive a stipend along with free housing and meals while working.
What are the skills needed?
Experience with individuals with disabilities is a real plus. Organization, professionalism, dependability, and respect for confidentiality.
Are there benefits?

What are the requirements?
You must be a college student or a college graduate. Because we are a Christian school, we do seek fellows who are aligned with our faith and values.
