Who is Shepherds Ministries?
Shepherds Ministries is a growing family of mission-driven initiatives that extend the impact of Shepherds College beyond a single campus. While Shepherds College remains the foundation, each ministry is built upon its proven model and Christ-centered approach.
Every initiative flows from the same Four Pillars of Training—Faith Journey, Life Skills, Personal Development, and Job Readiness—equipping individuals, churches, and communities to better serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Established in 2008, Shepherds College is the nation’s leading post-secondary school designed specifically for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its fully accredited, three-year vocational program and Christ-centered approach provide the model from which all Shepherds Ministries initiatives are developed.

Empowered for Life is a two-year, accredited, commuter-based post-secondary program delivered by Shepherds College. Designed specifically for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, E4L combines academic growth, spiritual development, life skills training, and vocational preparation in a structured, supportive environment.
